Introduction:

University College for Boys (UCB) came into being as a constituent College of the University of Peshawar in 2010 through the vision of Vice- Chancellor of the University of Peshawar. It seemed an incredible task in the beginning whether this college would ever be established successfully but finally the deeply cherished dream has come true and now the college is heading towards great achievements in the future. The foundation of this college was laid with a vision to provide students of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with quality education at inter level with the help of University of Peshawar. Furtunately, UCB came to the top slot of well known colleges of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in a very short duration.It is ardently believed that there is no end to human achievements. Deep down in hearts, the same idea about this college that it has to traverse a long way to achieve the real grandeur that is the real dream. It is very hopeful that UCB would stand as the most important cradle of education in Khyber Pakhtukhwa. It will achieve historic and excellent tasks with the help of its highly qualified faculty. Presently, the college is imparting education at intermediate level and will start BS classes in due course of time.

Vision:

The University of Peshawar has a prestigious college for girls, Jinnah College for Women. University College for Boys (UCB) will be another milestone in the academic atmosphere of the great campus for boys. Efforts will be made to establish and enhance the level of University College for Boys at par with the renowned institutions of the country. UCB fosters personal and professional success through the development of critical thinking, effective communication, creativity, and cultural awareness in a safe, accessible and affordable learning community.                                   

Mission:

Holistic development of students and to maintain the glorious history of the University of Peshawar by giving quality education in the region is the mission of University College for Boys.
