Introduction:

Dr. Afifa Anjum Khattak is a Lecturer and Coordinator at the Institute of Management Studies, University of Peshawar, with over 23 years of experience in higher education. She holds a PhD in Public Administration, specializing in public sector and healthcare project performance, governance, leadership, and innovation. Her teaching integrates experiential and innovative approaches, including case-based instruction, project-based learning, field engagement, and applied research supervision to bridge theory and practice. Actively involved in academic coordination and student mentoring, she is committed to fostering critical thinking, professional competence, and impactful research within public administration and management studies.

 

Research Interest:

  My research interests focus on project management, good governance, and leadership within business and public administration. I study how effective project governance systems and leadership practices improve organizational performance, accountability, and sustainability. I am particularly interested in how modern management approaches can be applied in both corporate and public sector organizations to enhance decision-making, operational efficiency, and stakeholder engagement. Through this work, I aim to contribute practical insights that support stronger institutions and better project outcomes.
