Dr. Farmanullah is currently serving as an Associate Professor at the Pakistan Study Centre, University of Peshawar, Pakistan. He holds a Ph.D. in Pakistan Studies from the University of Peshawar with specialization in Electoral Politics. He completed research fellowship at the Department of Politics and International Relations, University of Oxford, UK in 2016. He teaches various courses to graduate and research students at the University of Peshawar. His areas of expertise include Electoral Politics, Comparative Politics, Electoral Democracy, Voting Behaviour, Elections, Gender Politics, and both Qualitative and Quantitative Research Methods. Dr. Farmanullah has published extensively in national and international peer-reviewed journals. In 2016, he successfully led a research project as Principal Investigator (PI), funded by the Charles Wallace Trust, UK, and the British Council, Pakistan. From 2021 to 2023, he also served as a Research Assistant and Data Analyst for a project funded by the University of Sussex, UK.
