Today on 24.01.2025 Ms. Zahida Akhtar has successfully defended her PhD thesis titled “Soil Erosion Susceptibility Mapping and Sediment Yield Estimation Using GIS Based Compound Factor and Sediment Production Rate Approach: A Study of Kunhar River Basin, Pakistan”. Supervised by Dr. M. Jamal Nasir, Assistant Professor. The External Examiners were Dr. Omar Raiz,Associate Professor/Chairman, Department of Geography, Uni. of Sargodha & Dr. Shah Nawaz Khan, Lecturer, CDPM, UoP

She worked under the supervision of Dr. Muhammad Jamal Nasir, Assistant Professor.
