Department of Political Science, University of Peshawar conducted M. Phil Viva of Moinuddin, M. Phil scholar on 22nd September, 2015.The title of the thesis was, `Humanitarian Aspect of Drone Attacks in North Waziristan`.

He was supervised by Prof. Dr. Zahid Anwar, a renowned expert on the Pak-Afghan Region. On the occasion external examiner Dr. Tauqir Alam, Chairman Department of Political Science, Islamia College University highlighted the complexity of the drone warfare in FATA. Another examiner Prof. Dr. Abdur Rehamn former Chairman Department of Political Science, Hazara University has appreciated the objective analysis of the drone strikes in North Waziristan. Prof. Dr. Jehanzab Khalil, former Chairman Department of Political Science and now Dean of Social Sciences, Abdul Wali Khan University praised the researcher for the field work. Concluding the session Prof. Dr. Zahid Anwar said that the thesis was focused on how drone attacks impacted the Psychological, Social, Political and Economic makeup of the Waziristan society.
