International Conference On Eurasian Educational Space New Challenges And Best Practices


The III International Educational Forum “Altai-Asia 2016: Eurasian Educational Space - New Challenges and Best Practices”, was held in Altai State University Russia few weeks back. In the conference Prof. Dr. Zahid Anwar, Department of Political Science, University of Peshawar has presented his paper on, “CONTRIBUTIONS OF UNIVERSITY OF PESHAWAR FOR RESEARCH QUALITY ENHANCEMENT”. He also highlighted HEC contribution for promotion higher education and research through different projects like NRPU, Thematic grants, travel grants, foreign faculty hiring and thesis evaluation through examiners from Industrially developed countries. Prof. Dr. Razia Sultana, another renowned Pakistani scholar and Vice-Chancellor Benazir Shaheed Women University Peshawar in her paper in the conference highlighted, “the practical orientation of the educational activities of  modern University: a new paradigm and a look into the future”. Prof. Zemlyukov Sergey V. Rector of the Altay State University in his speech gave emphasis on collaboration among the Eurasian states in the field of education and research.  In the end of the conference the University has arranged a grand cultural show, dinner and a trip to picturesque Altai Republic in honour of the delegates from different countries of Eurasian region.
