Pakistan Study Centre Celebrates Independence day with vehemence and fervor

Pakistan Study Centre University of Peshawar celebrated Independence Day with vehemence and patriotic fervor. The Director Prof. Dr. Fakhr-ul-Islam was member of the Independence Day celebrations Committee University of Peshawar. The 14 August was working day for all employees of the Centre. They participated in the flag hoisting ceremony held at Convocation Hall where Vice Chancellor University of Peshawar Prof. Dr. Muhammad Asif Khan was the Chief Guest. Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Abid, Deans, Directors, Heads of departments, faculty, administrative staff and large number of students were present on the occasion. A smart contingent of University police presented march fast.  The Centre also arranged Books Exhibition at Central Library with collaboration of the latter. The Director Prof. Dr. Fakhr-ul-Islam was key note speaker at grand function held at Convocation Hall, presided over by the Vice Chancellor. After the main function, another flag hoisting ceremony was held at Pakistan Study Centre. Prof. Dr. Fakhr-ul-Islam performed the ceremony. He also cut the cake of Pakistan’s anniversary at Conference Room of the Centre.
