Professor (BPS-21)

Qualifications:

Ph.D. in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University/Institution.

Experience:

15-years teaching/research experience in HEC recognized University or a Post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization.

OR

10-years post-Ph.D. teaching/research experience in a recognized University or a Post-­graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization.

Minimum Number of Publications:

The applicants must have 15 research publications (with at least 05 publications in last 05 years) in the journals recognized by HEC.

Qualifications:

Ph.D. in Law or equivalent degree from an HEC recognized University/Institution with 15-years teaching/research experience in an HEC recognized University or a Post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization.

OR

10-years post-Ph.D. teaching/research experience in a recognized University or a Post­-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization.

OR

LL.M, JD. or equivalent degree from an HEC recognized university/institution with 17 years teaching/research experience (with at least 8 years experience after LL.M/JD. or equivalent degree in HEC recognized University or a Post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization.

Minimum Number of Publications:

The applicants must have 15 research publications (with at least 05 publications in last 05 years) in the journals recognized by HEC.

Qualifications:

Ph.D. in the relevant field from HEC recognized University/Institution with 15-years teaching/research experience in an HEC recognized University or a Post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization.

OR

10-years post-Ph.D. teaching/research experience in a recognized University or a Post-­graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization.

OR

Master’s Degree (Foreign) or M.Phil OR equivalent degree awarded after 18 years of education in the relevant field from an HEC recognized university/institution with 17 years teaching/research experience with at least 08 years experience after the Master’s (Foreign) or equivalent degree in HEC recognized University or a Post-graduate institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization.

Minimum Number of Publications:

Outstanding and substantial level of professional art activity and a national or international contribution to the development of Art and Design in general. Demonstrated by at least 8 exhibitions at national or international level with two or more than two new works in each exhibition or evidence of equal number of visual communication campaigns designed and published or equivalent work in any other discipline of Art and Design as specified in the research criteria.

Associate Professor (BPS-20)

Qualifications:

Ph.D. in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University/Institution.

Experience:

10-years teaching/research experience in HEC recognized University or a Post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization.

OR

05-years post-Ph.D. teaching/research experience in a recognized University or a Post-­graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization.

Minimum Number of Publications:

The applicants must have 10 research publications (with at least 04 publications in last 05 years) in the journals recognized by HEC.

Qualifications:

Ph.D. in the relevant field from HEC recognized university/institution with 10-years teaching/research experience in an HEC recognized University or a Post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization.

OR

05-years Post-Ph.D. teaching/research experience in a recognized University or a Post-­graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization

OR

Master’s Degree (Foreign) OR M.Phil OR equivalent degree awarded after 18 years of education in the relevant field from an HEC recognized university/institution with 12 years teaching/research experience with at least 04 years experience after the Master’s (Foreign) or equivalent degree in HEC recognized University or a Post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization.

Minimum Number of Publications:

Outstanding and substantial level of professional art activity (Demonstrated by participation in 6 exhibitions at national or international level with two or more than two new works in each exhibition or evidence of equal number of visual communication campaigns designed and published or equivalent work in any other discipline of Art and Design as specified in the research criteria).

Qualifications:

Ph.D. in Law or equivalent degree from an HEC recognized university/institution with 10-years teaching/research experience in an HEC recognized University or a Post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization.

OR

05-years Post-Ph.D. teaching/research experience in a recognized University or a Post­-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization.

OR

LL.M, JD. or equivalent degree from an HEC recognized university/institution with 12 years teaching/research experience (with at least 04 years experience after LL.M/JD. or equivalent degree in HEC recognized University or a Post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization.

Minimum Number of Publications:

The applicants must have 10 research publications (with at least 04 publications in last 05 years) in the journals recognized by HEC.

Assistant Professor (BPS-19)

Qualifications:

Ph.D. in the relevant field from HEC recognized university/institution. OR Master's degree (Foreign) OR M.Phil (Pakistan) OR equivalent degree awarded after 18 years of education as determined by the HEC in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University / Institution with 04 Years teaching / research experience in a recognized university or a Post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization.

Note:   All fresh Ph.D. inductees shall be appointed on TTS

Lecturer (BPS-18)

Qualifications:

• First Class Master's Degree (B-Grade) OR Second Class Master’s Degree with M.Phil OR equivalent degree awarded after 16 years of education in the relevant field with no 3rd division in the academic career, from an HEC recognized university / institution.
• Provided further that the candidate holding higher degrees viz. M.Phil / Ph.D. OR equivalent degree but with only one 3rd division in the entire academic career shall also be eligible.
• Provided further that benefit of higher degrees viz. M.Phil/Ph.D. or equivalent degree shall not be allowed to the candidates who are eligible on the basis of higher qualification.

Note:  

1. M.Sc/B.S (Hons)(4 years) Home Economics qualification is pre-requisite for S.No.2 i.e Lecturer in Management Sciences and Food & Nutrition, College of Home Economics
2. Registration with Pakistan Council of Architects and Town Planners (PCATP) is mandatory for S.No.8 i.e Lecturer in Architecture, Planner, Department of Urban & Regional Planning.
3. In case of semester system CGPA-3.00 out of 4.00 will be considered in place of First Division.

For each of the above positions, Application Form along-with a copy of National Identity Card (NADRA), a recent passport size photograph, attested copies of testimonial (s), experience certificate (s) and a Bank receipt / draft (non-refundable) of Rs.2500/- for BPS-19 & above and Rs.2000/- for BPS-18 to be deposited in Account No.6290-3 in the National Bank of Pakistan, University Campus in favor of the Treasurer, University of Peshawar and should reach the Meetings Section, University of Peshawar on or before 20th April, 2018. Moreover, all those applicants having foreign qualification are required to submit equivalence certificate from the Higher Education Commission, Islamabad.

The applicants for the post of Professor and Associate Professor should also submit the following documents:

1. Four copies of the list of research publications showing names of publications and journals
2. Four sets of reprints of the publications
3. Four copies of complete bio-data and
4. A Bank receipt or Bank Draft of Rs.4500/- (non-refundable) should be deposited in A/C No.7423-4 , United Bank Limited, University Campus Branch in favor of the Registrar, in addition to Rs.2500/- (non-refundable) to be deposited A/C No.6290-3 in the National Bank of Pakistan, University Campus in favor of the Treasurer, University of Peshawar.

In-service candidates should apply through proper channel. They must submit No Objection Certificate (s) from their concerned Departments/Institutions along with the application forms. Incomplete applications and those received after due date shall not be entertained.
