Pashto Academy Quetta and PSC agree to exchange literary delegations

 

The office bearers of Pashto Academy Quetta and Pakistan Study Centre  University of Peshawar agreed to exchange literary delegations in the near future. The decision to this effect was taken in a meeting at Pashto Academy Quetta complex on 17th September 2018. Prof. Dr. Fakhr-ul-Islam, Director Pakistan Study Centre  University of Peshawar represented his centre while  Syed Khair Muhammad Arif hosted the meeting. The other participants included Prof Dr Usman Tobawal Director
Pakistan Study Centre University of Balochistan, Prof Dr. Javed Iqbal Pashto Department 
University of Balochistan, Prof. Dr. Abdur Rauf Rafiqi and Sultan Zakhpail. It may be noted that both the institutions have signed an MoU a couple of months ago.  Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Dr. Fakhr-ul-Islam said that one of the objectives of  Pakistan Study Centres is to promote languages of Pakistan and conduct research on them. The signing of MoU with Pashto  Academy Quetta is to achieve that objective.   Syed Khair Muhammad Arif  President Pashto Academy Quetta welcomed the visiting Director and briefed the meeting on the possibility of mutual cooperation. At the end, both sides agreed to exchange literary delegations in the near future
