Situation Vacant Under HEC NRPU Project, Centralized Resource Laboratory (CRL)/ Department of Physics, University of Peshawar

Applications are invited from Pakistani Nationals for the appointment on the following project based position, under National Research Program for Universities – Higher Education Commission project No: 17228 titled “Fabrication of noble metal decorated metal oxide based sensor for monitoring of human breath biomarkers”. The candidates fulfilling the prescribed qualifications, experience, and other conditions may submit their applications along with the relevant documents on or before March 2,2026.

Experience and Duties:

Candidates having good working experience related to thin film deposition, fabrication of metal oxides-based gas sensing devices, materials characterization, report, and manuscript writing will be preferred. Duties and responsibilities include assisting P.I for project work, working in the laboratory, chemical analysis, preparing project reports, writing manuscripts, and presenting data.

BS, M.Sc in Physics, Chemistry

Preference: Research experience in Materials Science, Thin Solid Films, or a relevant field and enrolled in M.Phil/MS at University of Peshawar

 Contract duration:  The appointment is purely project based and for six (06) months only.
