Dr Muhammad Asfandyar Marwat, currently employed as a Lecturer at Institute of Peace and Conflict Studies, University of Peshawar, having PhD from Department of International Relations, University of Peshawar 2024 and Masters in International Relations from Quaid-e-Azam University Islamabad in 2010. Dr. Asfandyar joined IPCS in 2015 as member of the founding team to establish this Institute. Prior to joining IPCS, he has attended some classes as visiting lecturer at University of Engineering and Technology Campus III Bannu for the subjects of Pakistan Studies and Sociology. Dr. Asfandyar Marwat for his esearch interest is more into combating terrorism in Tribal Districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, CPEC and Global Terrorism. Dr Asfandyar also is keen in reading poetry. He believes, " life is great with peace, love and tolerance".
