ENGAGEMENT OF GIS SURVEY ASSOCIATES UNDER ADP NO. 220842
"GIS BASED PROPERTY TAX SURVEY IN DISTRICTS CHARSADDA, SWABI, HARIPUR AND MANSEHRA"
In pursuance of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed on 19.12.2024 between the Department of Geography and Geomatics, University of Peshawar, and the Excise, Taxation & Narcotics Control Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, applications are invited from eligible Pakistani nationals on the prescribed application form for selection and engagement as GIS Survey Associates under ADP No. 220842 titled “GIS Based Property Tax Survey in Districts Charsadda, Swabi, Haripur and Mansehra”.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION
1. Bachelor Degree in GIS / Remote Sensing from a recognized University;
OR
2. One-year Postgraduate Diploma in Geomatics (GIS and Remote Sensing)/ One-year Certificate in GIS, acquired after a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized Board / University or other similar statutory body.
Age Limit: 22 to 35 years.

Applicants shall indicate their district / place of deployment preference and willingness in the application form. Final recommendation and deployment shall be made against the project requirement.
NATURE OF ENGAGEMENT AND SELECTION
• The engagement shall be purely project-based and shall not confer any right to regular appointment or regularization.
• Selection shall be made on merit through a transparent process on the basis of predetermined criteria consistent with the approved revised PC-I and the MoU.
• Keeping in view the field-oriented nature of the assignment, relevant practical competencies may be assessed, including GIS field survey techniques, GIS coordinates and geotagging, GIS imagery, digitization, spatial reference systems, topological error removal, field data capture and data cleansing.
• The Department of Geography and Geomatics, University of Peshawar shall scrutinize and verify the credentials and supporting documents of recommended candidates prior to forwarding the final recommendations to the Project Director’s Office.

1. Matriculation Certificate and DMC.
2. Intermediate Certificate and DMC.
3. Bachelor’s Degree and Transcript.
4. One-year GIS Diploma / Certificate and Transcript, where applicable.
5. Domicile Certificate.
6. CNIC.
7. Character Certificate from the institution last attended.
8. Certificate of relevant experience, if any.
SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS
Prescribed application forms are available on the University website / office of the Department of Geography and Geomatics. Complete applications, along with the required documents, must reach the Department of Geography and Geomatics, University of Peshawar, by Thursday, 13 August 2026, before 4:00 PM.
Applications received after the due date / time or incomplete applications shall not be entertained.
SELECTION PROCESS
The date, time and venue of the screening test / assessment and interview shall be communicated to eligible candidates by the Department of Geography and Geomatics, University of Peshawar.
No TA/DA shall be admissible for appearing in the selection process.
