Research Interest: Dr. Saeed Ullah Khattak conducts research primarily in fungal metabolomics and microbial pathogenesis. His scientific interests involve identifying and characterizing bioactive fungal strains and their secondary metabolites, aiming to discover compounds with antimicrobial and therapeutic potential. Using both in silico and in vitro approaches, his research group actively engages in the purification, structural elucidation and bioprospecting of microbial metabolites. Additionally, Dr. Khattak investigates fungal and bacterial virulence mechanisms and explores strategies to inhibit these factors, contributing towards novel therapeutic strategies.
