I hold a Bachelor's degree in Economics, and since completing it, I have been deeply drawn to the idea of building a more peaceful society. Growing up in Peshawar, I developed a personal understanding of the everyday conflicts around me. I came to believe that many of these conflicts whether local, national, or international are closely linked to struggles for economic survival and access to resources. This realization led me to view economic factors as fundamental drivers of conflict, often shaping the interests of individuals and groups.

Motivated by this perspective, I pursued further studies at the Institute of Peace and Conflict Studies, University of Peshawar. My academic journey has since focused on exploring how economic conditions intersect with human needs, identity, and governance and how these dynamics can either fuel tensions or contribute to sustainable peace. Today, as a Lecturer at IPCS, I am committed to research and teaching that promote a deeper understanding of conflict drivers and pathways to peace.
