Second Meeting/Workshop of Pakistani Women in Mathematics (PWM), 2017

The aim of the Pakistani Women in Mathematics Meeting/Workshop is to provide a stimulating intellectual environment for women academicians from all over Pakistan in different mathematical disciplines. The seminar aims to promote active careers as researchers for women in the mathematical sciences, and to provide opportunity for young women mathematicians to meet and talk with other women in the same field and strengthen their professional selfconfidence.

It is the second of its kind, the first took place in Islamabad in 2014. The meeting will consist of plenary/keynote talks, contributed talks in various disciplines of Mathematics. There will be time for informal discussions to resolve other possible problems women facing in Mathematics. PWM meeting is a major forum for exchange of ideas in an interdisciplinary setting with focus on mathematics. We hope 2017 meeting will follow the traditions of highly successful previous meeting of PWM. We look forward to welcome you in Peshawar on the occasion of this exciting event.
