                               NIHCR donates books to Pakistan Study Centre

A delegation of National Institute of Historical and Cultural Research (NIHCR) Quaid-e-Azam University Islamabad visited Pakistan Study Centre. The team was led by Syed Umar Hayat, Director NIHCR. Other members of the delegation included Dr. Farah Gul, Munir Khawar, Dr. Iffat, Dr. Himayatulah  Khan, Dr. Altafullah, and Dr. Akhtar Rasul Bodla. The delegation was received by Director Pakistan Study Centre and faculty and admn staff. The NIHCR donated 250 books to Pakistan Study Centre which will be kept in a separate corner of the Centre’s library. On this occasion, a ceremony was held which was addressed by Director Pakistan Study Centre Prof Dr. Fakhr-ul-Islam and Syed Umar Hayat, Director NIHCR. Dr. Fakhar thanked NIHCR for the generous gesture and hoped that these books will enrich the knowledge of the students and scholars. In his speech, Director NIHCR said that his Institute attaches great importance to partnership with Pakistan Study Centre. He said that both the organizations are signatory to a Memorandum of Understanding since 2012. He thanked Prof Dr. Fakhr-ul-Islam for his wholehearted support. The delegation also met Prof. Dr. Sayed Minhajul Hasan, Dean of Arts and Humanities University of Peshawar.
