Chinese delegation visits Pakistan Study Centre

 

A delegation of scholars and executives from People’s Republic of China visited Pakistan Study Centre University of Peshawar. The delegation was led by Professor Wan Jinaxin. Head Institute of Silk Road Studies Northwest University Linbu, Shanxi China. The other members included Mr. Lin Tao,  Coordinator of joint Project on Archeological studies, and Mr. Dong Zhibin from Chinese Consulate Lahore. Director China Study Centre University of Peshawar, Prof.  Dr. Zahid Anwar also accompanied the delegation. On arrival at the centre , Director Pakistan Study Centre Prof, Dr. Fakhr-ul-Islam accorded them warm welcome. The delegation visited various parts of the centre. They were amused to see several research theses completed on Pak-China relations and CPEC. Later on speaking gathering of faculty members, Professor Wan Jinaxin expressed his delight over interacting with administration and faculty of Pakistan Study Centre. He stressed the need for joint work on history and culture of both the countries. Director Pakistan Study Centre Prof. Dr. Fakhr-ul-Islam said it was an honor and pleasure to receive a delegation from a friendly country People’s Republic of China. He said  that people of Pakistan give tremendous importance to Pakistan’s relations with China. He stressed upon the need of collaboration between academia of both the countries.
