Pakistan Study Centre Celebrates Independence day with patriotic fervor

Pakistan Study Centre University of Peshawar celebrated Independence Day with vehemence and patriotic fervor. The Director Prof. Dr. Fakhr-ul-Islam was member of the Independence Day celebrations Committee University of Peshawar. The 14 August was working day for all employees of the Centre. They participated in the flag hoisting ceremony held at Convocation Hall where Vice Chancellor University of Peshawar Prof. Dr. Muhammad Asif Khan was the Chief Guest. In the grand function presided by the VC, Prof. Dr. Fakhr-ul-Islam delivered key note address wherein he highlighted the role of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the  Pakistan Movement.  The Centre also arranged Books Exhibition at Central Library.

Separate flag hoisting and cake cutting ceremonies were also held at Pakistan Study Centre. On that occasion, the Pro Vice Chancellor Peshawar University,  Prof Dr. Muhammad Abid was the Chief Guest.  The Director and Pro-VC delivered speeches. The building of the Centre was illuminated for three days.
