Admission Notice: Ph.D. Programs at NCE in Geology & Physical Chemistry


Applications on prescribed form, obtainable from the UBL, University Campus Branch on cash payment of Rs.1000/-, for admission to PhD Programme (Fall Semester) Session 2018-19 from 25.10.2018 to 02.11.2018 in the following disciplines are invited as per detail below:

Schedule:

  • The duly completed / filled admission forms shall be submitted latest by November 02, 2018 up to 4:00 PM in the respective centre.
  • Test and Interview will be conducted by the respective centers between 5th to 7th November, 2018.

Eligibility for Ph.D.:

  • Candidates having MS/MPhil 18 years education with a CGPA 3.0 in Semester System or 1st Division in Annual System.
  • Candidate must pass Entry Test by securing at least 70% marks.

Enclosure:

Attested copies of the following documents must be enclosed with the Admission Form:

  • M.Phil Degree and Transcript
  • 2 recent Passport size photographs
  • C.N.I.C. and Domicile
  • Certificate from the Academic Institution last attended that no disciplinary proceeding is pending  or action taken against him/her.

Important:

  • Only those candidates will be considered for admission whose results are duly declared/notified by the Controller of Examinations on or before Friday 02.11.2018.
  • Candidates employed in any Government or Semi-Government Department/Organization must submit No Objection Certificate from the concerned Department/Organization upto 20th November, 2018.
  • Provision of hostel accommodation will be subject to availability of seat and shall not be claimed as a matter of right.
  • In case of ambiguity about eligibility, the opinion of the Graduate Studies Committee of the concerned department may be taken into consideration. 
  • All the HEC/University of Peshawar rules / regulations shall be applicable on the admitted scholars.
  • The University reserves the right to make changes in any programme / admission procedure/regulations when and where deemed necessary.
