Salman Khan successfully secured his MS (Research-based) degree and defended his dissertation titled "Rise and fall of Lashkar-e-Islam Militant group in Khyber district" under the supervision of Dr. Imran Ahmad Sajid at the Institute of Peace and Conflict Studies, University of Peshawar. His degree was officially issued on 22nd September 2019.
