Akbar Jalil successfully graduated in MS (Research-based) degree  and defended his dissertation titled as "The Role of Parliament in formulation of foreign Policy of Pakistan:  A Case Study of Yemen Crisis 2015" under the supervision of Dr. Abdur Rauf at the Institute of Peace and Conflict Studies, University of Peshawar. His degree was officially issued on 16th October 2020.
