Akhtar Amin successfully secured his MS (Research-based)  and defended his dissertation titled as" Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Alliance and Prospects for Peace in the Muslim Countries" under the supervision of Dr. Hussain Shaheed Shoorwardi at the Institute of Peace and Conflict Studies, Univeraity of Peshawar. His degree was officially issued on 9th September 2020.
