Yusra Khan successfully completed her MS (Research-based) degree  and defended her dissertation titled "The Role Of Women's Empowerment In Peacebuilding In District Khyber, Pakistan" under the supervision of Dr. Abida Bano at the Institute of Peace and Conflict Studies, University of Peshawar. Her degree was officially issued on 19th January 2024.
