Student Mobility Opportunity for Human Rights Defenders
**VERY IMPORTANT**
Several students have submitted direct applications to attend the Venice School for Human Rights Defenders through the programme’s official website. As indicated in the student information sheet previously shared, this application route is not foreseen for Pakistani students enrolled in one of the four participating universities. These students are required to apply exclusively through their respective university focal points (i.e., ipcs@uop.edu.pk).
Please note that students belonging to the Huqooq-e-Pakistan II university consortium are subject to a separate selection process. Consequently, applications submitted through the official training programme website, rather than via UoP internal procedure, will be automatically excluded from consideration.

Call for Applications
Institute of Peace & Conflict Studies (IPCS), University of Peshawar under its project on Human Rights with UNDP Pakistan invites applications from the currently enrolled students at University of Peshawar in semester 6 onwards for a fully funded weeklong training/certification as Human Rights Defenders at the Headquarter of Global Campus on Human Rights at Venice, Italy commencing in June (14-20), 2026. The applicants must demonstrate genuine interest in human rights with a record of practical experience work. The application form & short CV (max 2 pages) merged into a single PDF file naming the file as “Surname_Name” i.e., “Ahmad_Rashid” is to be
submitted on or before February 25, 2026 (1600 PST) at ipcs@uop.edu.pk
