Dr. Aysha Sami Latif is a highly qualified and accomplished professional with a strong background in academia and the banking industry. She is currently working as an Assitant Professor at Quaid-e-Azam College of Commerce, University of Peshawar where she has held several positions of responsibility including being the editor of the magazine “The Quaid” and co-editor of the newsletter. She has a wealth of experience in teaching a wide range of courses including Budgeting and Standard Costing, Profit Planning and Cost Analysis, Business Mathematics, Quantitative Techniques in Business, Economy of Pakistan, Micro Economics, Principles of Accounting, Business Statistics, Managerial Economics, Advanced Research Methods, Financial Statement Analysis, Financial Risk Management, Strategic Financial Management and Research Methods in Human Resource Management.
Dr. Aysha has also had a successful career in the banking industry, having worked as a Relationship Manager-Assets at Allied Bank Limited and as a Credit Analyst at MCB Bank Limited. She has excellent planning, organizing, leading and evaluating skills, and is proficient in financial statement analysis and familiar with banking operations and loan processing. She also has excellent communication and writing skills. Currently she is serving as Program Coordinator of BS Commerce.
Dr. Aysha has a PhD in Management with major in Finance from Institute of Management Sciences, Peshawar, MS in Management with major in Finance from Institute of Management Sciences, Peshawar, Master of Commerce from University of Peshawar and Bachelor of Commerce from University of Peshawar. She has several distinctions and awards to her credit, including a distinction in MS-Management from Institute of Management Sciences, a Gold Medal in Master of Commerce from University of Peshawar, and a distinction in Bachelor of Commerce from University of Peshawar.
Dr. Aysha has also done extensive research work and has published in reputable journals such as Pakistan Business Review, and The Lahore Journal of Economics. She has also participated in several research conferences and has several unpublished research work such as International stock market linkages: A new perspective, Corporate governance and firm performance – The case of Pakistan, Impact of outliers on socio-economic factors affecting Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of University students and Validity of asset pricing models: Evidence from the Karachi Stock Exchange. With her impressive academic and professional background, Dr. Latif is well-equipped to provide high-quality instruction and contribute to her field of expertise.
