Applications are invited from Pakistani citizens on the prescribed forms available from the Meetings Section OR Here for the following positions:

A. Faculty Positions:

1. Associate Professor of International Relations (BPS-20) (One) (Permanent), Department of International Relations 

 

Qualification:

Ph.D. in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University/Institution.

Experience:

10-years teaching/research experience in HEC recognized University or a Post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization.

OR

05-years post-Ph.D. teaching/research experience in a recognized University or a Post-­graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization

Minimum Number of Publications:

The applicants must have 10 research publications (with at least 04 publications in the last 05 years) in the journals recognized by HEC.

 

B. Campus Management Solution (CMS):

The University of Peshawar implemented the Peoplesoft (Oracle) Campus Management Solution (CMS) and E-Business Suite (Financials and SCM) solution to provide a complete set of ICT tools to boost academic and management services. Applications are invited for the following positions to maintain and run the Peoplesoft (Oracle) CMS and EBS:

 

1. Additional Director (IT)  (BPS-19) (One) (Permanent),

Qualification and Experience:

PhD. in Computer Science/IT/Electronics from an HEC recognized University/Institution with 10 years relevant experience OR MS/MPhil degree in Computer Science/IT/Electronics from an HEC recognized University/ Institution with 13 years relevant experience.

Provided that in case of non-availability of the candidate with requisite qualification, the Syndicate may relax the qualification. 

 

2. Deputy Director (IT) (BPS-18 (Four posts) (One each for Admission (RTTM/Reporting), Student Financials / Financial Aid, Academics (Student Records /Grade Book/ Academic Adv.) and EBS (Technical) (Permanent)

Qualification and Experience:

First Class Master’s Degree in Computer Science/IT/Electronics from an HEC recognized University / Institution with 06 years relevant experience OR First Class Bachelor’s (04 Years) degree in Computer Science/IT/Electronics from an HEC recognized University / Institution with 06 years relevant experience.

 

3. Deputy Treasurer (BPS-18) (One)  (Permanent)

Qualifications:

Master’s Degree with first division in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration from an HEC recognized University / Institution or Chartered Accountant with 05 years’ teaching / administrative experience in a University / Government or autonomous body in BPS-17 and above.

General Instructions:

  1. All applicants should submit the Application Form along-with the following documents:
  2. A copy each of the Computerized National Identity Card (Issued by NADRA), a recent passport size photograph, attested copies of testimonial (s), experience certificate(s);  and
  3. A Bank receipt/draft (non-refundable) of Rs.2500/- for BPS-19 and Rs.2000/- for BPS-18 deposited in Account No.6290-3 in the National Bank of Pakistan, University Campus Branch in favor of the Treasurer, University of Peshawar.
  4. In addition to S.No. 1(i) and (ii), the applicants for the post of Associate Professor should also submit four copies of the list of research publications showing names of publications and journals; four sets of reprints of the publications; four copies of complete bio-data; and a Bank receipt/draft of Rs.4500/- (non-refundable) deposited in A/C No.7423-4, United Bank Limited, University Campus Branch in favor of the Registrar, University of Peshawar.
  5. Applicants having foreign qualifications are required to submit an equivalence certificate issued by the Higher Education Commission, Islamabad.
  6. The Application Form along with requisite documents and bank receipt/(s) should reach the Meetings Section, University of Peshawar on or before 20th June 2022.
  7. In-service candidates should apply through the proper channel. They must submit No Objection Certificate (s) from their concerned Departments/Institutions along with the application forms.
  8. Incomplete applications and those received after due date shall not be entertained.
